The connection is established with a simple twist rather than by dealing with complex nuts & bolts, and the permanently positioned O Ring face seal is fully leak-proof, while also avoiding spending time and risking crushed hands and fingers which can happen when trying to fix conventional gaskets between flanges. The special design provides a space of contact between the mating flange face and the clam, and the helical arrangement ensures the cam can’t loosen in standard conditions when there is any pressure in the line.

The cam is easily adjustable and made to fit any flange or pipe. There is a special locking wrench or round steel bar, and those are the only tools required to tighten, release or lock the cam which makes it very easy to operate.

The way they work is that 2 flanges are automatically positioned around the coupling within the cam blocks and they are locked together. They are turned by hand via a locking bar which is supplied with the product. It takes about 5 sec to lock each cam.
